Suspension Bridges in Tibet

I have already written about road conditions in Tibet [1]. And I have written about suspension bridges [2].
These bridges might look dangerous, but it is less dangerous to cross these bridges than cross a ford of a cold and rapid river. Sometimes you have to walk on broken planks. This is the Himalaya region! I’ve been on a suspension bridge in Sikkim, the only one for a long stretch, where we had to get off the car and walk across the bridge, because otherwise it might have collapsed.
These suspension bridges can be easier rebuilt if they got washed away. I’m very much in favor of these bridges.
