Multimodal therapy of Fibromyalgia at the EULAR 2016 Meeting

In his talk How to treat / manage Fibromyalgia, D.A. Williams of University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, United States pointed out: “Multi-modal treatment is considered optimal for the long-term management of FM [Fibromyalgia] […]”. I must admit that I haven’t attended this session and missed his talk. I hope that Dr. Williams will publish his talk later on. I have been interested in multimodal therapy of fibromyalgia for two decades now and have put such treatment into practice. So I am very grateful to read that this kind of treatment is considered “optimal”.

I’ve been to all posters and read all abstracts on fibromyalgia presented at the EULAR 2016 Meeting. I am a bit disappointed, that there hasn’t been any new study on the “optimal” therapy. But maybe the next congress will see a new study. For the time being please refer to the links below.
