First flowers

Then bushes and trees

And the busy bees

New colours

On sky and face

Open freeway

First hay of the year

The dandelions aren’t cut

And birds look for worms

Bridge across the Rhine

Heavy Spring flood rolling down

The lonely coal ship

First heat of the year

Already longing for rain

Joy carries sadness

Before the president

The nightingale

Sings another song

Rising moon

Each passing car
