Already
in Teheran I could see handled weights with lots of ornaments. They have the
shape of handbags. One could think that they a weights, but they differ in
shape and weight so that this explanation doesn’t seen feasible. It is unclear for
which purpose they had been carved. They are dated 4000-5000 years ago.
The Tulsa
Doom snake emblem in Conan the Barbarian seems to have been designed after the “handbags”,
which can be seen in the Azerbeijan Museum of Tabriz.
