across water

a thousand silver mirrors
the silhouette of a boat

morning downpour
raised to new heights
afternoon clouds

the lyme grass glissens
the beach sand is cool and firm

beach tent billows
in the summer blue
white clouds

the cry of the seagull
arrives with the wind

clouds
colored by open wall
a driftwood lair

bleached wooden bones
and the desert falls silent
