It’s Summer

Yes, yes
The squirrels and a
Dry forest

Brooding sun
Let’s bring lemonade
To the scarecrows (POETS)

Moon’s stoic face
Scar on scar
But mother’s back pain

Human life
One-way-ticket
Use the circle line

Embracing pine trees
Drops still falling off needles
Lazy summer sun

At the beer garden
Sun, sweat and chat
Fair weather clouds

Good morning
To the cleaning woman
Mr Magpie joins

After the thunder
The street is darker
And still empty

Selected by Dhugal J. Lindsay for Mainichi Japan

Off work
Sun and a light breeze
No vacation yet

The good news
Fishmonger don’t use
To wrap fish

And meet me on MeWe “Poets The Original” #poetsoriginal #poetstheoriginal
