I’ll tell you more about the possible side effects of a new drug.

This new drug has a well known profile of side effects:

- it may lead to tooth decay

- nausea

- constipation

- abdominal pain

- headaches.

- obesity

- high blood pressure

- diabetes

- loss of consciousness

- stroke

- myocardial infarction

- neuropathy

- renal failure

- blindness,

- loss of limbs because of artery disease and/or gangrene

- death

Here in the lower Rhine region people cross the border to the Netherlands, where the use of marijuana is legal. The medical presciption of THC is possible, but the drug is very expensive, so GPs hardly prescribe it.
The use of marijuana against fibromyalgia hasn't proved efficacy in a study. My personal attitude towards drugs (legal or not) against pain caused by fibromyalgia is caunselling against it.
