Carpe Diem Haiku No. 917 direction

Sun behind a tree ()
To the North () waves on the shore
Soon the geese return ()

Next to steering wheel
The compass set behind glass
The sea may churn now

Guugu Yimithirr language: „The language is notable for its use of pure geographic directions (north, south, east, west) rather than egocentric directions (left, right, forward, backward), …”. And it’s the source language for the word kangaroo.
