Carpe Diem Haiku “Rain”

After the rain
The harrowed field
Shows a green beard

After the rain
The ground is pink
Naked cherry tree

Light rain
On a dusty country road
Fragrance of summer

Look onto
The rainy street
Coffee sipping

Rainy night
Lightning flashes
What a sudden life!

Before the thunderstorm
Taciturn forest
Then rain sings

Emptied cups
Left for the rain
And the squirrel

Rain falling
Blurred vision
Drizzling song

Clouds gathering
Wind and rain
People disperse

  2. Thank you for your many haiku...I love the thoughts you express in them. And, the photos are on the money....and look like they could be in my back yard in Maine USA ! The world so big, and so much is similar. Thank you.
