Cui Hao (崔顥) lived from about 704 until 754. About 30 of his poems have survived. Four poem appear in the anthology 300 Poems of the Tang Dynasty. These are the last two lines of the poem Yellow Crane Tower, which was located on the Snake Hill of Wuchang (武昌蛇山), which nowadays is Wuhan (武汉市).
