Carpe Diem Special Haiku Onitsura's Valley Stream

Spring is dead
Stream through the barren valley
Only tears of stones

While the meadows dry
The valley stream tells stories
To laugh and to weep

Addendum:

Cutting stone
The water knife descends
Freed souls arise

  4. I can feel the sadness in these, although the "freed souls arise" feels beautiful.
