Last of Winter – Haiku

故關衰草遍,離別正堪悲。
路出寒雲外,人歸暮雪時。
送李端 / 李端公
盧綸
At the old gate amidst the withered grass we sadly bid farewell.
The road out there in frosty clouds will see you soon in falling snow.
Fare to Li Duan
By Lu Lun

Snowflakes
They should have moved
Into the shade

Morning gets colors
And computer changes to blue mode
But the birds sing

After winter sleep
The daffodils are sprouting
But then spring fever

Withered leaves
Covered by hoarfrost
But crocus breaks through

Some snow and leaves
The stint has not returned yet
The beach looks paler

Frost again
Withering crocus
Tears in the wind

Frost returned
Merry kids with red cheeks
While blossoms die

Still fresh the spring breeze
Vibrating in the meadow
And the rabbit’s fur

Mountain ice melting
But spring in the valley
Snowdrops ringing
