Haiku Heights No. 200 Wish

Dust from falling stars
Golden on evening’s grass
What more to wish for?

Even never wished
To cross ov'r the rainbow bridge
All living must end

Cramped in between people
Air has the tormented wish
To hide in the lungs

No wilful damage
Deep in the asphalt jungle
What wishful thinking!

  1. More people in this world thrive on wishful thinking that one would wish!
