Haiku in Mainichi Shinbun (毎日新聞) 2017

In 2016 two of my Haiku were selected by the late Isamu Hashimoto and then published in the English section of the Mainichi Shinbun (“The Mainichi”) [1]. After Isamu Hashimoto passed away [2], Mr. Dhugal J. Lindsay had been assigned to select the daily Haiku. Now the Annual Selection 2017 has been published [3].
I feel very honoured that three of my own Haiku have been selected:

Clouds linger
Too misty to hear
The temple bell

Let’s catch
The autumn storm in jars
And drink it later

Not talking
Leaves are turning yellow
Not silent
