Carpe Diem Haiku Courage

英雄之女侠
她冬季跨骑景观
剑为她盾牌

A little explanation for this haiku. When Kristjaan has published the character in today’s haiku prompt, I had to write a Chinese haiku 俳句. I remembered a movie by King Hu: A Touch of Zen http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Touch_of_Zen, which then inspired me to write this haiku. It translates into: Courage of the heroine / Riding across the Winter landscape / Sword as her shield

The lion roars
Savanna listens in awe
Courage of meerkats

Prostrations
In front of the Jokhang
Courage of Tibetans

  1. I like how you describe the courageousness with such muted awe...beautifully written, all...
