Blog Carpe Diem Haiku Butterfly

Green caterpillar
Reciting Ovid, then change
To a butterfly

Rolling surf behind
Among the true blue blossoms
Yellow butterflies

The mourning pine trees
Spilling fragrance of remorse
Dancing butterflies

  1. Wow! Lothar what a joy to read this post. Those pictures are stunning, but I was amazed when I read that last haiku. That one is really a masterpiece and could have been written by one of our classic haiku masters. Chapeau!
