Driving
through the western parts of Tibet you hardly see trees, but in 2009 I was
going from Yunnan to Lhasa through the south-eastern part of Tibet. There are
quite a lot of forests there. Here I’ll show you a couple of pictures, which I
took back then in early fall.
At an altitude of 4800-5000 m the south-eastern
parts of Tibets also are barren, though there
still are growing some scrubs
