We were
driving to reach Gyantse and the route took us along Yamdrok-tso, a vast lake.
There has been a point to stop, but there where yaks and Tibetan mastiffs ready
to take picture. PETA writes: “Many sound appealing to people who love being
around animals – but it’s the animals who pay the price for tourists’ desire to
have a close encounter with them.”
Pictures
with yaks and dogs might not be as cruel as elephant riding, orcas at sea world
or swimming with the dolphins, but still, quite unnecessary.
