Looking into
the dimming day
Oh, the
tangerine
Snow covers
the park
The pool is
nearly frozen –
The swan
keeps swimming
White
silence
Clean
landscape, fresh steps
To the fire
Middle of
Winter
But snow is
melting away
Violet
blossoms
Tumbling
grey ashes
Winter smog
covers the town –
Happy magpie
though
