Konfuzius [孔子]
(etwa 551-479 v. Chr.) schrieb in den Analekten [论语]:
子曰：「志於道，據於德，依於仁，游於藝。」Der
Meister sagte: "Lasset den Willen auf den Pfad [der Pflicht] gestellt
sein. Lasset jedes Erzielen in dem, was gut ist, festgehalten sein. Lasset der
vollkommenen Tugend günstige Bedingungen zuteilwerden. Lasset Ruhe und Genuss
in den höflichen Künsten [die Riten, Musik, Bogenschießen, Wagenfahren, Sprache
und Mathematik] gefunden werden." [3]
Dies ist wahrscheinlich der Ursprung von: Der Weg ist das
Ziel.
Was aber ist das Ziel? Das Ziel des Lebens kann nicht das
Haus, der Status oder das gelungene Leben sein. Ist das Leben teleologisch nur
die Bewegung hin auf das bereits angelegte Ziel Tod? Wahrscheinlich ja. Können
wir daran etwas ändern? Nein! Also sollten wir uns auch nicht darum sorgen. So
ist es noch klarer, dass der Weg nicht das Ziel ist.
Im Dao-de-jing [道德經]
steht: Der Weg, den man benennen kann, ist nicht der wahre Weg; Namen
(Begriffe), die man geben kann, sind keine wahre Namen [道可道，非常道。名可名，非常名。]. Der Text schließt
mit: 聖人之道为而不爭。Der
Weg des Weisen wirkt ohne Konkurrenz (Wettstreit).

The Master
said: “Nine times nine is eighty-one.”

Ich antworte: “Die Quersumme von 81 ist neun.”
Gehe Deinen Weg, nicht den Weg anderer. Schau ab und zu
nach, ob Du noch auf dem Weg bist. Der Weg ist der Weg und das Ziel ist das
Ziel. Noch besser ist das Ohne-Ziel. Am besten aber ist der Weg ohne Weg.
