End of Autumn

Car chase on the road
Headlights banging on the night
And ACDC

Trees’ black skeletons
The stars are twinkling through them
Soft sounds in the leaves

Baroque tune playing
Wind sweeping hundred perfumes
Through the bamboo grove

Heavy snow fall
Rear lights die like embers
In full closure

Ice flowers
Perfect on the windshield
But scratch, scratch, scratch

His Brightness the moon
Commanding all trees to wear
Black trousers, white shirts

Twigs covered by snow
The night lies quiet and bright
Snow muffling the sounds

Past a broken bottle
Walking slowly through the night
Dark half of the moon

When darkness has left
And bright sunshine fills the sky
The ravens arise
