Haiku Early Birds

Stretching grey, wet road
Disarrayed clouds in fiery red
But the steady hawk

Summer rain
Out of violet clouds
And a weak rainbow

Sun rising golden
Among the gliding sea gulls
An airplane hiding

The air a little fresh
But the golden rim of clouds
And the skylark’s flight

This morning
Lots of early birds
Fewer worms
