Haiku Into September 16.09.2020

A Pacific wind
freshens. Hungry clouds nibble
The fattening moon
Karin Cope

Snow white clouds
Multi-coloured sunset
And a sparkling night

Ripe fruits
What’s left of summer
Taciturn

Fattening moon
Autumn’s fragrances
Near equinox

Summer drought
Withered and coloured leaves
Ready to fall

First light
Glissening spider's net
Where is summer?

Cold rain
Pumpkin still growing
No cranes yet

These high skies
Autumn is approaching
Yet summer not gone

Wind during the night
Stumbling against the plum tree
Intoxicated

Darker night
Rain falling in thick drops
Yet crickets chirp
