My cappuccino
With a flower in the froth
Let the storm begin
Carefree summer sun
Throngs, clowns, and the
carousel
Popsicle’s melting
Buzzing bumble bees
They only stop at vetches
Serving nectar
Getting wet
Even under the oak
But this summer joy
Rain out of grey clouds
Dark grey ship on the river
Colouring by Haydn
Overcast sky
And summer is pouring
Red breaking light
In the mountains
Bees and birds are singing
Even stones in the brook
