National Haiku Writing Month has been founded by the well known haiku poet Michael Dylan Welch. The goal is to write at least one haiku a day. National Haiku Writing Month is in its 13th year. [1] I enjoy writing to the prompts on Facebook. These are haiku of the second half of February [2].
snowflakes
falling very slowly
during the last hour

“land of hope and glory”
“the blood a hero sire hath spent”
all in vain

dead of night
the whistler whistles his tune
a dark secret emerges

are craving for
